Andhra Pradesh Student Died: A 21-year-old MMBS student from Andhra Pradesh died after getting stuck in snow near a waterfall in Kyrgyzstan. The student has been identified as Dasari Chandu, a resident of Anakapalle district. According to the report, after the exams were over at the university where he was studying, Chandu had gone to the waterfall with other students and some friends from Andhra Pradesh. During this time Chandu got stuck in the snow and lost his life.

According to NDTV report, 21-year-old medical student Dasari Chandu was a resident of Madugula village in Anakapalle, Andhra Pradesh and was studying MBBS in Kyrgyzstan. He was in second year. Kyrgyzstan authorities have informed the parents about the incident. It was reported that Dasari Chandu had finished his second year examination and was on an outing with his four friends, who were also from Andhra Pradesh. He died after getting trapped in ice near a frozen waterfall. He went to Kyrgyzstan last year to study MBBS.

Let us tell you that Chandu was the son of Dasari Bhim Raju, the owner of the famous sweet shop of Anakapalle. He had gone to Kyrgyzstan a year ago to study MBBS. Chandu’s family has appealed to the Indian government to bring back the body. Anakapalle MP B Venkata Satyavathi has informed Union Minister Kishan Reddy about this matter.

Preparation to bring the body to India
According to MP Satyavati, Reddy spoke to officials of the Indian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and requested to provide all assistance to bring back Chandu’s body. Chandu’s parents told that they approached Union Minister and Telangana State BJP President G Kishan Reddy to bring back their son’s body. He said that Reddy is talking to officials in Kyrgyzstan and arrangements are being made to bring back the body. He said Reddy spoke to the Indian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and requested for assistance in bringing Chandu’s remains to India, The Siasat Daily reported.

403 students have lost their lives so far
Foreign Minister S Jaishankar had told Parliament in February that 403 students had died abroad since 2018. According to news agency PTI, till February, 91 Indian students died in Canada, 36 in America, 48 in UK, 35 in Australia, 40 in Russia, 20 in Germany, 21 in Ukraine, 14 in Cyprus. 10 students each in Philippines and Italy, and nine students each in Kyrgyzstan, Qatar and China have lost their lives so far. Last week also many students have lost their lives in America.
