In 2010, David Cameron had created controversy by calling Gaza Strip ‘a prison camp’. He also advocated a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestine conflict. However, he has also been a staunch supporter of Israel.

Recently he included the blue and white Israeli flag in his post on X in support of Israel, saying, "I stand in full solidarity with Israel at this most challenging time and fully support the Prime Minister and the UK Government in their clear and firm support."
