Meanwhile, BJP candidate and former CM met poor potters and their families in Kiloda village of Dewas.

When the potter refused to take money for the earthen pot, the former CM requested him to take the money for the earthen pot, after which the potter also agreed.

Competition between Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Pratap Bhanu Sharma

BJP has played a big gamble by making former CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan its candidate from Vidisha seat. This is considered the strongest and safest seat of BJP. Shivraj Singh Chauhan has been MP on this seat for a long time. At the same time, Congress has fielded Pratap Bhanu Sharma from Vidisha. Pratap Bhanu Sharma has also been an MP from Vidisha, although he has not been able to contest any election for a long time.

Third phase elections on 7th May

There are total 29 Lok Sabha seats in Madhya Pradesh. Out of 29 seats in the state, till now elections have been held for 12 Lok Sabha seats in two phases. However, in both the phases the voting percentage was less than last time. Elections are to be held on Vidisha seat of Madhya Pradesh in the third phase on 7th May. In the third phase, apart from Vidisha Lok Sabha seat, voting will be held at Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Bhopal, Rajgarh and Betul Lok Sabha seats.
