Hun Manet said in a statement on social media platform Facebook, “The explosion was so powerful that 20 soldiers lost their lives and many soldiers were also injured.”
PM Hun Manet expressed grief over the incident
Prime Minister Hun Manet has expressed his condolences to the families of those killed in the accident. He said that I am deeply shocked to hear the news of the explosion incident. He said it was not clear what caused the explosion. Hun Manet said he has ordered the defense minister and the commander-in-chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces to make immediate funeral arrangements for the slain soldiers.
