Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Five phases of voting have been completed in the Lok Sabha elections, while voting for two phases is still pending. Both the BJP-led NDA and the Congress-led All India Alliance are claiming to form the government. Meanwhile, a well-known American political expert has made a big claim of BJP’s victory.
In an interview given to NDTV Profit, Ian Bremer said, in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in India in 2024, BJP will be 10 seats above or 10 seats below 305. Ian Bremner is the founder of Eurasia Group and keeps an eye on elections happening around the world. Bremer said that if we analyze the elections taking place across the world, the Lok Sabha elections taking place in India are the only ones which appear to be stable and consistent.
When asked about the elections being held in India, Bremer said that according to the research of Eurasia Group, BJP is going to get between 295 to 315 seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Actually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been the PM of India for 10 years. BJP got 282 seats in the Lok Sabha elections 2014. Whereas in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, BJP got 303 seats. This time BJP is claiming to win 370 seats, whereas NDA’s target is to cross 400 seats.
Modi will win the third term on the basis of his work
After giving the numbers, American expert Bremer said that his interest is not in the numbers but in the elections happening all over the world. Bremer also praised the free, fair and transparent election process in India. He also said that Narendra Modi We are definitely going to win the third term on the basis of strong economic performance and continuous reforms, which is a very stable message for India.
BJP is getting 303 seats- Prashant Kishore
On the other hand, Indian political strategist Prashant Kishore said, ‘The public is not dissatisfied with the current Bharatiya Janata Party government, nor is there any demand for an alternative in the Lok Sabha elections.’ In an interview with NDTV, Jan Suraj Party chief Prashant Kishor said that Prime Minister Modi should help BJP. Lok Sabha Elections Can bring victory once again in 2024. He has claimed that BJP is going to get the same number of seats as in the last elections, or slightly more.
