ACB action in Jodhpur MDM Hospital bribery case came to light ann

Jodhpur News: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) seems to be in the mood to take strict action against the corrupt. The ACB team has caught a broker along with a female employee from Jodhpur’s MDM hospital while taking bribe. The female employee used to maintain the attendance register of contract workers.

She used to add 12 extra attendances to the employees’ attendance and take the commission money herself. Following a complaint, the ACB caught her and her broker red-handed taking bribe on Friday. On being caught, the female employee started crying and started hiding her face from the media persons.

worked in the hospital for 27 days
Anti-Corruption Bureau DYSP Govardhan Ram said that the contractual employees of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital had complained. They had told that the hospital’s ECG technician Vaishali Sharma was admitted as an attendant. She had worked as a technician in the hospital for 27 days.

But incharge Vaishali Sharma passed the payment by making a record of 40 days’ attendance. After this, a commission of Rs 3600 was demanded in exchange for writing 12 days’ extra attendance.

Confirmation of bribe demand
On receiving a complaint of fraud in increasing attendance in Mathuradas Mathur Hospital, ACB got the complaint verified. In which the demand for bribe was confirmed. ACB team took action today on Friday.

During the raid at the technician’s office in the multi-level ICU of MDM Hospital, after taking bribe money from the complainant, Vaishali gave it to the broker Piyush Sharma. After this, the broker gave some money to Vaishali Sharma. ACB recovered the amount of Rs 3600 from Vaishali’s bag and caught the broker red-handed.

Greed started coming as soon as I got the job
As soon as the ACB caught the female employee, she started crying holding her head. The female employee Vaishali Sharma was selected as a technician in Mathuradas Mathur Hospital in Jodhpur about two and a half years ago. She was entrusted by the hospital administration with the responsibility of making attendance and recording the attendance records of the contract workers working in a department here.

As soon as Vaishali got this job, greed started coming in her mind. She along with the contract worker broker started targeting those people who were newly employed as staff in MDM Hospital.

took money as commission
Vaishali Sharma and her broker used to take money as commission from these contract workers by registering more attendance despite working less days in the attendance register. They used to cheat the government. Contract workers working as ECG technicians get Rs 280 per day. In which they have to work for 6 hours.

No one could muster the courage to speak out of fear
In the investigation of the anti-corruption bureau, it also came to light that despite working for fewer days, the technician earns more money due to higher attendance. Many technicians did not return to Vaishali after receiving the extra money. Vaishali had started targeting such people. The female employees had to bear the brunt of this the most. Even there were many such employees who did not stay with Vaishali despite having small children. She used to deliberately put them on night duty for investigation. Due to this many staff were also troubled; out of fear of her, no one could muster the courage to speak. Due to this, Vaishali started harassing the employees day by day; finally a contract worker complained to the ACB.
