UP Lok Sabha Election: Son-in-law of Lalu Yadav, cousin of Akhilesh Yadav, former MP of Mainpuri, know who is Tej Pratap Yadav?

UP Lok Sabha Election 2024: Samajwadi Party has announced the names of its two more candidates on Monday. This time SP has made Tej Pratap Singh Yadav of Yadav family its candidate from Kannauj Lok Sabha seat. Tej Pratap Singh Yadav is the grandson of SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav. He is the fifth member from Akhilesh Yadav’s family who has been made a candidate by SP.

Actually, Tej Pratap Singh Yadav, who has been made the candidate from Kannauj Lok Sabha seat, has been an MP earlier also. He is the cousin of Akhilesh Yadav and son-in-law of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. He is married to Lalu Yadav’s younger daughter Raj Lakshmi. Tej Pratap is considered a trusted and close family member of Akhilesh Yadav.

Although Tej Pratap Singh Yadav has already placed stakes in the election field. He has been an MP from Mainpuri, the traditional seat of the family. He is the grandson of Ratan Singh Yadav, brother of Mulayam Singh Yadav. He has done MSc from Leeds University, England. Before becoming an MP, he had also been the block chief of Saifai. His father’s name is Ranveer Singh Yadav, who is the cousin of Akhilesh Yadav.

Tej Pratap Singh Yadav’s father Ranveer Singh Yadav has also been the block chief of Saifai. Tej Pratap’s mother’s name is Mridula Yadav. Tej Pratap Singh Yadav has previously been an MP from Mainpuri, he had won the by-election.
