The police have started taking strict action against those who make reels on social media and create ruckus by consuming drugs in the Kedarnath complex. So far, challan action has been taken against 84 persons who made reels in the restricted area of the Dham, while action has been taken against 59 people who created a ruckus.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Vishakha Ashok Bhadane said, making reels and videos within 50 meters of Kedarnath Dham is prohibited. On Friday, four people making reels in the restricted area of the Dham were caught and challaned. Earlier, the police had caught 80 people making reels and videos in the restricted area and challaned them.

At the same time, Rudraprayag Police is also running Operation Maryada against those who create a ruckus in the Dham after consuming drugs. On Friday, challan action was taken against 59 people who created a ruckus after consuming drugs.
