19 laborers died tragically in the accident
Actually, recently, people of Semhara village of Kukdur police station area of ​​Kawardha district were returning in a pickup vehicle after plucking tendu leaves. During this time, the pickup vehicle met with an accident while turning on the hilly road. In this accident, 19 laborers died tragically, while many were injured.

Accident occurred due to loss of balance of pickup
According to eyewitnesses of the accident, 35 people were traveling in the pickup. Many women and men were sitting on this pickup vehicle. While taking a turn on the hill the car suddenly lost its balance. People sitting in the front of the pickup started shouting ‘jump, jump’. After which many people saved their lives by jumping from the car.

The women in the pickup could not jump and the vehicle fell into the ditch. In this tragic accident, 18 women including a mother and daughter and one man died a painful death. After this accident, mourning spread in the village of Semhara for the victims and the dead.
