From Kohli to Hollywood singer Kylie, big celebrities wear shoes made by this Bihari boy

Mumbai. It is not an easy task to go from Bihar to Mumbai and reach Hollywood from Bollywood on the basis of your ability. But Jameel Shah, a resident of Darbhanga district of Bihar state, has made his dream come true. From Bollywood’s Aamir Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni to cricketers Virat Kohli, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Hollywood’s Australian singer Kylie Minogue, all wear shoes made by Jameel. The man whose shoes all these superstars wear, never had shoes to wear himself.

This is how Jameel’s journey started-
Jameel Shah is a resident of Darbhanga district of Bihar. In search of employment, he reached the city of dreams Mumbai in 1998 at the age of just 12. But getting work was not so easy. Jameel did many things there, from selling purses in the local train to many other things. After this, he started working in a shoe factory. Jameel Shah’s story started with a small shoe factory and after reaching here, he got a job as a craftsman in a leather company.

The passion for dancing made him a dancing shoe maker
Jameel is fond of dancing. Along with work, Jameel also joined dance classes. But Jameel did not have money to buy expensive dancing shoes. Jameel’s choreographer Sandip Soparkar advised Jameel that since he knew leather work, he should make shoes for himself. After that Jameel made wonderful shoes for dance performances. The shoes that Jameel made for himself were also liked by his friends in the dancing class. Later, people learning dance in his class also got shoes made from him. This is where his journey to success began. From a simple artisan, Jameel became a shoe producer today.

They named it ‘Shah Shoes’. Today Jameel’s shoes are sold under this brand name. Jameel remembered the fact that he could not afford expensive shoes and kept the price of his shoes between Rs 2,000 and Rs 20,000. Anyone can dance for four to five hours with the shoes made by Jameel. Jameel says that he offers his company’s shoes in the market at a very affordable price. Actress Tara Sutaria, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Student of the Year-2’, bought heeled dance shoes from Jameel.
