Delhi Lok Sabha Election Phase 6 Voting: The maximum temperature in the national capital on Friday was recorded at 41.7 degrees Celsius, which is one degree above the season’s normal. Today, 25 May, Saturday, will be the last day of rising mercury in the capital. Lok Sabha Elections Voting for the sixth phase of the elections will also begin shortly. The Meteorological Department has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for Saturday, during which the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature is expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature in Delhi today, i.e. on the day of polling, is predicted to be 44 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is predicted to be 31 degrees Celsius. However, there is no possibility of heat wave during this period. The minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius, which is four degrees higher than the average temperature of this season. The relative humidity during the day ranged between 42 percent and 60 percent.

How will the weather be today?
The IMD has forecast mainly clear skies for Saturday with surface winds blowing at a speed of 25 to 35 kmph during the day. Heatwave conditions are considered when the maximum temperature reaches at least 40 degrees Celsius in plains, 37 degrees in coastal areas and 30 degrees Celsius in hilly areas and is at least 4.5 degrees Celsius above normal.

Political temperature rises in Delhi
Along with the temperature of the weather, the political temperature of Delhi has also increased. In the sixth phase, voting will take place on all the Lok Sabha seats of Delhi. This time in the battle of Delhi, BJP is competing with Aam Aadmi Party and Congress which are part of the ‘India’ alliance. In the last two Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party has dominated.

In both the 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP had won all the seven seats, this is the reason why winning all the seven seats has become a challenge for BJP. Even after this, BJP has fielded its candidates on all the seats in Maidan. Whereas Congress has fielded its candidates on three seats and Aam Aadmi Party has fielded its candidates with the aim of winning on four seats.
