Kaimur Crime News: On Sunday (March 17), in Udhpura village of Durgavati police station area of Kaimur district, a 54-year-old mother, who had gone to defecate on the river bank, was shot dead by her younger son who then went to his home. When the villagers reached the spot after hearing the sound of the bullet, the dead body of the woman was lying on the bank of the river soaked in blood.
After this the villagers informed Durgavati police. Durgavati police reached the spot and did a lot of searching near the spot. Nothing was found, so after completing the paperwork, the body was sent to Sadar Hospital Bhabhua for post-mortem. When the police reached the woman’s house for investigation, they started interrogating her younger son. During interrogation, the younger son admitted that he was very upset about his mother’s wrong actions. After which he shot him dead.
Took the body to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital
The police have recovered the country-made pistol used in the incident from his house on his Nishan Dehi present at the spot. A shell was also stuck in the pistol. The identity of the deceased woman is said to be Savita Devi, 54 year old wife of late Vijay Shankar Sharma of Udhpura village of Durgavati police station area.
Ranjesh Vishwakarma told that someone has shot my mother due to which she died. Have brought Bhabhua to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. We were not at home, when we got information on phone, I reached the spot and took the body from there to Sadar Hospital Bhabhua.
The accused confessed to the crime
Durgavati police station in-charge Rajeev Ranjan said that a bullet-ridden body of a woman has been recovered. Where the dead body has been sent for post-mortem after completing the paperwork. The woman’s younger son has been arrested on suspicion. So he has accepted the incident. A country-made pistol and a shell stuck inside it have been recovered from him. He told that he was upset with his mother’s misbehavior due to which he shot her dead.
