Praful Billore, the son of a farmer from Labravada village in Madhya Pradesh, also had the same dream. Praful moved to Ahmedabad to study at IIM Ahmedabad. Despite preparing for the Common Admission Test (CAIT) for three consecutive years, when he could not clear the CAT exam, he opened a tea shop and named it – ‘MBA Chaiwala’. Starting from Ahmedabad
Prafull Billore, who belongs to a farmer family of Labravada, a small village in Dhar, wanted to do MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, but when he did not get success, he turned towards big cities like Delhi, Mumbai, but his heart was in Ahmedabad. Prafull liked the city of Ahmedabad so much that he started thinking of settling there. Now money is needed to live and something has to be done for money, thinking this, Prafull took up a job at McDonald’s in Ahmedabad. Here Prafull used to get paid at the rate of 37 rupees per hour and he used to work for about 12 hours a day.

The tea shop changed Praful’s world
While working, Praful realized that he cannot work at McDonald’s all his life, so he thought of starting his own business. But Praful did not have the money to start a business. In such a situation, Praful thought of doing a business which would require less capital and could be done easily. This is where the idea of starting a tea business came to his mind. To start the work, Praful lied to his father and asked for 10 thousand rupees in the name of studies. With this money, Praful started a tea stall.
Today MBA Chaiwala has become a brand. It has outlets in 22 major cities of the country and now franchises are going to open in foreign countries as well. Prafull Billore says that his family has supported him a lot, they believe that if you work hard honestly for any work, you will definitely get success.

Praful’s success gave a befitting reply to those who used to make fun of him. Praful said that now people ask me for advice. I tell them, degree does not matter. I do what I like. Let us tell you that Praful left MBA and started a tea stall. Within 4 years of starting the tea business, he earned 3 crore rupees and got praises all over the country.
