Rahi Haldar/Hooghly. You walk and your shoes generate electricity. With this electricity, you can charge mobile phones, GPS trackers or cameras etc. Such shoes have been made by 9th class student Souvik Seth. Souvik, a resident of Barsat Depada in Chandannagar, Hooghly, has already won many science related awards. This little kid is confident that his innovation will bring about a big change in the world of shoes. Apart from parents of small children, this will also benefit those who climb mountains or walk for hours regularly.

Students of English Department at Kanailal School Souvik has claimed that if you walk one kilometer wearing the shoes made by him, then a 2000 mAh battery will be easily charged.

Surprising features of shoes made from junk

It is interesting how Souvik made this shoe system! Souvik said, “I made this smart suit from waste material. These shoes with GPS are very convenient for children.” Take a look at how effective these shoes can be.

– If a little child gets lost, you will be able to find him in no time.
– Family members will be able to see at which location their child is.
– These shoes also have a spy camera. This will also help in seeing if there is any suspicious person around the child.’
– No suspect will even know that there is a spy camera in the child’s shoe.
– These shoes are very useful for mountaineers to charge their gadgets.

Will any organization come forward for Souvik?

Souvik also said that he now wants to study ITI and if a big company takes notice of his work, only then will his hard work be successful. Souvik’s mother Soma Seth said, ‘Since the time he was in fifth class, Souvik used to watch his uncle working on Chinese lights. Earlier, he had made a bicycle bell from junk. Then he made a spy suit with a spy camera, which costs a lot to make.’

Since Souvik’s father Swaroop Seth is a worker in a jute mill, it is not possible to raise so much money. Soma said, ‘It would be better if some institution or company comes forward for support and Souvik’s work gets a platform. We want to give our son the best possible education so that his abilities can improve further.’
