After this victory, many former cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh became emotional. Yuvraj Singh also praised Team India by tweeting. No one knew that he had become emotional. But the Indian cricketer revealed that Yuvraj had become emotional.
Abhishek Sharma, who plays for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL, while talking in an interview said, “When India won the T20 World Cup, Yuvraj Singh became very emotional. I was very inspired after seeing him, I also want to win the World Cup for India like Yuvi paaji.”
Yuvraj Singh had said about Abhishek, “Abhishek has become capable but I don’t think he is ready for the World Cup yet. For the World Cup, we will have to go for experienced players. Some players have played for India. After the World Cup, he will be ready to play for India. His focus is also on this. The next 6 months are going to be very important for Abhishek Sharma.”
Abhishek Sharma could not make his debut
Abhishek Sharma has not been able to debut for Team India yet. Abhishek Sharma, a resident of Punjab, is a part of the IPL Sunrisers Hyderabad team. He played 14 matches in IPL 2022 and 11 matches in IPL 2023. In 2024, he scored a total of 484 runs in 16 matches. Hyderabad included Abhishek Sharma in its team by bidding Rs 6.50 crore.
