The deceased has been identified as Mukesh Kumar, son of Somar Sao, resident of Dumarjhara village of Gavan police station area of ​​Giridih district of Jharkhand state. He used to work as a clothes hawker.

The family of the deceased told the entire incident

The victim’s family has accused a person from Jharnawan village of Kauakol police station area of ​​carrying out the crime. Rajkumar Sao, brother of the deceased, says that there was a dispute between Mukesh and him a few days ago regarding business. He is the one who killed his brother. He told that his brother Mukesh and a younger brother Chhotu Sav had left the house saying that they were going to Daniya village of Kauakol police station area.

Then the person from Jharnawan village caught both the brothers. However, the younger brother somehow escaped from his clutches and came home and narrated the entire ordeal, after which the family members reached the forest in search of Mukesh. After wandering in the forest for three-four hours, the brother’s body was recovered. His body was burnt with petrol and leaves. His bike was also burnt.

Family members kept roaming around Nawada-Giridih

Family member Rajkumar Sah says that after the body was recovered, we reached Kauakol police station on Thursday, but the police there shied away saying that it was not Kauakol area. The family members were scolded and sent away. After this, when Giridih police was contacted, they said that the area completely falls under Kauakol police station of Nawada district. In such a situation, Giridih Police cannot provide any cooperation. However, the family members have been running from one police station to another with the dead body for 24 hours.

The victim’s family was forced to go to the police of the districts bordering Bihar-Jharkhand to get the dead body and lodge an FIR. Police took possession of the body late in the night and sent it to Sadar Hospital Nawada for post-mortem.
