Yogi Adityanath News: The Yogi Adityanath government has given a big gift to lakhs of state employees in Uttar Pradesh. Under this, now the employees will also get the benefit of salary hike on the next day of retirement. The pension of such employees will be calculated under the national salary hike. This proposal has been approved in the Yogi Cabinet meeting on Tuesday.
Giving more information about this, Finance Minister Suresh Khanna said that the Finance Ministry has approved this proposal. He said that under the system that was in place till now, employees retiring on 30 June and 31 December were not able to get the benefit of salary hike on 1 July or 1 January.
Yogi cabinet approved the proposal
After this proposal is approved by the Finance Ministry, employees will be able to get the benefit of salary hike in their pension and gratuity. Earlier, employees retiring on 30 June and 31 December were not able to get the benefit of increased salary hike. But, from now on, the salary hike of 1 July and 1 January will be added and given on the very next day of retirement.
The Finance Minister said that after the Supreme Court’s decision, the judicial employees have already been given this benefit. But after the cabinet approves the proposal, now the government employees will also start getting this benefit.
