SP had changed tickets twice in Meerut
Samajwadi Party first gave ticket to Supreme Court advocate Bhanu Pratap Singh for Meerut Lok Sabha seat. His ticket was cancelled a few days later. After this, Akhilesh Yadav gave ticket to Atul Pradhan, who was SP MLA from Meerut Sardhana assembly seat, but after this, MLA Atul Pradhan’s ticket was also cancelled and ticket was given to Sunita Verma, wife of former MLA Yogesh Verma. Sunita Verma has also been the mayor of Meerut.
