Xiaomi CEO confirms Redmi Pad Pro 5G Version Soon to Launch

Xiaomi is set to introduce the Redmi Pad Pro 5G to the market, an update to the Wi-Fi variant launched earlier this year. The new model introduced by CEO Lei Jun will include 5G connectivity, which is currently missing in both the Chinese and global models. Here we tell you in detail about the Redmi Pad Pro 5G.

The announcement was made via Lei Jun’s X account, which means we can expect the 5G model to hit global markets as well. The tablet already uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 with 5G support, so we don’t expect it to feature the same hardware as the WiFi model.

Redmirex Pro It has a 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD display with a resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports peak brightness of up to 600 nits. The display is equipped with Dolby Vision along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 security. It is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, which has a clock speed of 2.4GHz and is linked with Adreno 710 GPU. In terms of storage, the tablet has 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which can be expanded up to 1.5TB by microSD. It works on Android 14 based HyperOS.

In terms of audio system, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support have been provided, along with dual microphones. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ac) on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB Type-C 2.0. The tablet has a 10,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
