Xiaomi C300 C500 Dual Camera Smart CCTV Launched Sale Begin Price Specifications Availability

Xiaomi recently announced the C300 and C500 indoor dual-lens security cameras, which are now available for sale in China. Both cameras boast enhanced monitoring. The C300 comes with two 3-megapixel lenses, including a 6mm PTZ telephoto lens and a 2.8mm fixed wide-angle lens, offering a 360-degree horizontal and 88-degree vertical field of view. It also features night vision, AI human detection, virtual fence, and AI face recognition. The Xiaomi C500 gets two 4-megapixel lenses with panoramic 360-degree horizontal and 93-degree vertical view, pet detection, bassy cry detection, and dual-camera collaboration. Both models come with Xiaomi’s HyperOS for smooth interaction with other smart home appliances.

Xiaomi Smart Camera C300 and C500 launched in China Launch The C300 has been launched in China and according to the company, both are currently available for purchase on JD.com in China. The C300 is priced starting at 279 yuan (roughly Rs. 3,200), while the C500 is priced starting at 329 yuan (roughly Rs. 3,800).

Talking about the features of the C300, it has two 3-megapixel lenses, including a 6mm PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) telephoto lens and a 2.8mm fixed wide-angle lens, which provides 360 degrees horizontal and 88 degrees vertical field of view. It has 12 940nm infrared supplementary lights for better night vision. Human detection, virtual fence, local sound detection and AI face recognition are included for real-time notifications. For connectivity and security, the C300 camera gets dual-band Wi-Fi 6 support for stable connection and it is claimed to get Xiaomi Home Security Chip for financial level data encryption.

The C500 has two 4-megapixel lenses, the first being a fixed wide-angle lens with a 110-degree field of view and a PTZ telephoto lens with a 58-degree field of view, offering a 360-degree horizontal and 93-degree vertical view. It also features pet detection, crying baby detection, and dual-camera collaboration. When an area is long-pressed in the Mi Home app, it automatically rotates for a closer look. It also supports viewing recordings from both lenses simultaneously.

Like the C300, it supports dual-band Wi-Fi 6 for a stable connection and comes equipped with a Xiaomi home security chip for financial-level data encryption. It also has multiple storage options including microSD cards, cloud storage, and NAS devices. It comes equipped with HyperOS and can also be installed on a table or ceiling with an adjustable bracket.

Both cameras come with A35 architecture AI chip with 1TOPS computing power for faster and more accurate object detection and are equipped with built-in speaker and microphone for two-way voice calls.
