Xiaomi is reportedly working on the Xiaomi 15 series. Reports claim that Xiaomi will bring the first smartphone equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 this year. Qualcomm may introduce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 in October, while Xiaomi may launch the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro equipped with the new processor in the same month. In a recent leak, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the camera island design and color options of the Xiaomi 15 series.

Tipster’s Accordingthe Xiaomi 15 series will get a new design instead of the decorative studs on the camera module. Earlier, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro had a square-shaped camera module located in the top-left corner, surrounded by a metal bezel with a Parisian hobnail texture, with small and raised dots. The new leak suggests that the Xiaomi 15 series will retain the square camera module in the top left corner, it will not include decorative studs.

The leak revealed that Xiaomi 15 And the 15 Pro will come in colors like black, white, green and bright silver along with some special editions. Apart from this, the series will be slimmer and lighter in weight than before. According to previous reports, the Xiaomi 15 will be a compact flagship smartphone with a flat display, while the 15 Pro will be a larger smartphone with a quad-curved display. Both smartphones will get Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass protection for the display. The Xiaomi 15 series will be equipped with IP69-rating, which ensures protection from dust and water.

Xiaomi 15 can get a 4,800mAh or 4,9000mAh battery, which will support 100W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. Xiaomi 15 Pro can have a 5,400mAh battery that will support 120W fast charging and 80W wireless charging. A recent report claimed that the 15 Pro’s OmniVision OV50K 50-megapixel primary snapper will support a variable aperture of f / 1.4-f / 2.5. Apart from the 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, it can get a 50-megapixel Sony IMX8-series periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
