Nagaur. Nagaur district is adjacent to western Rajasthan and hence mostly farming and dust storms are seen here, but now the youth here are also seen doing new innovations. One such feat was achieved by a youth of Nagaur who converted an ordinary bicycle into an electric bicycle. This is being discussed in the entire Nagaur district. Abdul Rashid, who did this feat, belongs to a simple family.

How was the electronic bicycle invented

Abdul Rashid said that when he saw an electronic scooty two years ago, he planned to convert his bicycle into an electronic bicycle. Then he bought some necessary items like battery, wire, lights etc. and slowly started preparing to make it.

Who is Abdul Rashid?

This promising student is a resident of Loharpura near Mahi Gate of Nagaur. Currently, he is pursuing Diploma in Engineering in Computer Science at Bikaner Technical University. But Abdul is more interested in making electronic items. So far, Abdul Rashid has invented a small water cooler, fridge and electronic swing. This is how this cycle works

Abdul told that this cycle works like an electronic scooter. First he bought a normal cycle and after modifying it, he installed two 24 watt batteries, motor with a controller which controls lighting, horn, indicator, lock, brake. A pedal system has also been kept with the battery so that after the battery gets discharged, it can work with the pedal.

What is the specialty, how much did it cost

The specialty of this cycle is that it works like a normal and electric cycle. It can cover a distance of 25 km on a single charge. Abdul said that he bought a normal cycle for Rs. 6000 and then spent Rs. 6000 to make the cycle and thus made this cycle. It is much cheaper than the electronic cycle available in the market.
