Identified through Identify Me

According to the report, the Belgian authorities did not find anything during the investigation in this case. After which he handed it over to Identify Me. Officials were hoping that the woman’s tattoo would jog someone’s memory. Several days after the launch of Operation Identify Me, a family member in the United Kingdom identified the particular tattoo and then informed the authorities.

The family member claimed that the victim had moved from Cardiff to Antwerp in February 1992 and was never contacted again after sending the postcard in May 1992. According to the report, after the victim’s identification, her family has gone to Belgium to meet investigators.
