New Delhi. The Indian team will tour Australia in November, where it will play a 5-match Test series with the host team. This series will be played under Border Gavaskar Trophy. Before this, Team India will play a 3-match Test series against New Zealand at home. India recently clean swept Bangladesh in the 2 match test series. Former Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin says that the way the Indian team won the Kanpur Test with its very aggressive attitude, it can repeat the same performance on the Australia tour.

Despite playing only one session in the first three days, India won this test with explosive batting and aggressive bowling and swept the two-match series. Brad Haddin praised Indian captain Rohit Sharma for playing the test match in this style. Haddin said on the ‘LISTNR’ podcast, ‘They created a chance to win the match. While batting, he was not keeping in mind how many runs he had to score. His focus was on the timing required to bowl out Bangladesh.

He said, ‘The Indian team played brilliant cricket, it was about giving time to the team to win. I would like to congratulate Rohit Sharma and the members of the coaching team for this performance. After bowling out Bangladesh for 233 runs in the first innings, Indian batsmen made the records of fastest scores of 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 in Test cricket. After India declared the innings at 285 runs for nine wickets in just 34.4 overs, Bangladesh bowled out the second innings cheaply and achieved the target of 95 runs for victory by losing three wickets.

Haddin said, ‘Rohit is this kind of player. For them, victory is first and everything else later and the Indian team played with the same spirit and created a chance for themselves to win the Test match. I liked this style of their cricket. When Haddin was asked whether India could do the same against Australia, he said, ‘I really believe so. If you look at this result (against Bangladesh), the worst result for India would have been a draw. India had no fear of losing the match. Rohit had nothing to lose. It was so nice to see this. This is a great way to win Test cricket. The Indian team has won the Test series on both its previous tours to Australia.
