Wicketkeeping will be in the hands of KL Rahul in Test, new player will get the responsibility against England, series will be held in India

Hyderabad. The Indian team is ready to play a 5-match test series against England. Head coach Rahul Dravid has given some hints about what Team India’s plans are at home. The team’s plan is clear on whether KL Rahul, who played Test for India as a wicket-keeper against South Africa, will continue in this role or not. The coach told that he will be a part of the playing eleven as a batsman in the Test series with England.

Indian head coach Rahul Dravid said on Tuesday that Lokesh Rahul will not play as a wicketkeeper in the five-Test series against England. There may be a competition between KS Bharat and Dhruv Jurel for the role of wicketkeeper. Rahul recently played the role of wicketkeeper in the two-match series against South Africa and performed brilliantly behind the wicket. The series against England will start from Thursday.

Dravid said in the press conference, “Rahul will not play as a wicketkeeper in this series and we are clear about our selection. We have picked two other wicketkeepers and of course Rahul did a fantastic job for us in South Africa and played a key role in our series draw. But considering the five Test matches (against England) and playing in these conditions, the selection will be between two other wicketkeepers.
