Musk believes that aliens have never come to our planet Earth. Addressing the perennial question at a panel titled “How to save the human race and other light subjects” at the 2024 Milken Institute Global Conference held in Los Angeles, Musk said, if we send humanity probes into the universe, we will definitely The remains of long dead alien civilizations will be found.
The SpaceX founder’s company operates the Starlink satellite constellation of about 6,000 units. He said that his company has never found unidentified flying objects that could indicate alien presence. Quoting Space.com, Musk said that he has not seen any evidence of aliens.

Reflecting on what this might mean for the future of humanity, Musk suggested that the absence of contact with alien civilizations could indicate that advanced societies are both “uncertain and rare.” He said that if there are aliens out there and an alien species has managed to survive for a million years, then it should have been able to colonize the entire galaxy.
Musk asked, “So, they didn’t do it, so why not? I think the answer might be that civilization is uncertain and rare. And we should really think of human civilization as a small candle in the vast darkness.” He argued that this underlines the importance of protecting human civilization. “We must make every effort to ensure that the candle is not extinguished,” he stressed.
