New Delhi. In the history of the game, there have been many players whose father played for another country while the son plays for another team. In cricket too, there have been many players who were born somewhere else and played cricket or any other sport for another country. Bowling all-rounder Brydon Carse is also one of those players whose father played cricket for Zimbabwe while the son is playing for England. Brydon was born in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. But he is ready to make his Test debut for England. England has announced its 17-member Test squad for the upcoming 3-match series against Pakistan in which Carse has been successful in making a place for the first time.

29-year-old Brydon Carse is a right-handed fast bowler and batsman. Carse has already made his debut for England in ODIs and T20 Internationals, while he is ready to make his Test debut. Brydon’s father James Carse was born on 13 December 1958 in Harare, Zimbabwe. James Carse did not get a chance to show his cricket skills on the international stage, but he has played first-class cricket for Zimbabwe. James has represented England’s Northamptonshire in county cricket. In 2019, James acquired England citizenship. He also has a UK passport.

Made ODI debut against Pakistan
The England team is going to tour Pakistan in a few days for the Test series. The first Test match of the series will be played in Multan from October 7, while the second and third Test matches will be played in Karachi and Rawpindi from October 15 and 24 respectively.

Cricket career of Brydon Carse
Brydon Carse made his ODI debut against Pakistan in July 2021. He has taken 15 wickets in 14 ODIs while he has 4 wickets in 3 T20 International matches. Brydon has scored 155 runs in ODIs. He has 1573 runs with 127 wickets in 48 first class matches.
