It has been raining heavily in Nepal for about 72 hours. The devastated neighboring state has released about 11 lakh cusecs of water accumulated due to the rains in the rivers of Bihar. The impact of record water release from Kosi-Gandak Barrage has reached 12 districts of Bihar. More than one lakh people are affected by the floods. More problems may increase in these districts on Sunday. Along with the rivers connected to Kosi-Gandak, the water level of Ganga will also become a cause of trouble. Even Patna is in trouble, because due to the rise in the water level of Punpun river, flood water has already reached more than a thousand houses and it will be a problem if the water level of Ganga rises again.

Vadodara received heavy rainfall in a short period of time, especially in the catchment areas of Vishwamitri river and Ajwa lake, leading to rising water levels, Vadodara Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dilip Rana said. If necessary, we will evacuate people living in low-lying areas and take them to safe places. He said that the buses are ready and other arrangements are in place.
