Vivo’s new smartphones are going to be launched in India. The company has started teasing Vivo V40 and V40 Pro smartphones. The landing page of the Vivo V40 series is also Vivo India’s Website Vivo’s leak has gone live on Vivo V17, which reveals the key features of the upcoming smartphone. It has been reported that Vivo’s new phones will have ZEISS branded cameras. Both phones will have a 50-megapixel selfie camera and a triple camera setup will be provided at the back.

It has been told that the main camera in the triple camera setup present in the Vivo V40 series will be of 50 megapixels. This is the Sony IMX921 50 sensor. Along with this, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera will be provided. 2x optical zoom can be given in the telephoto camera.

It is expected that these camera specs will appear in Vivo V40 Pro. There may be some changes in the camera of Vivo V40. The V40 Pro can be given a curved edge OLED display. Oval shaped camera module can be in these phones, which will make the look of both the phones strong. Recently these devices were seen in the Geekbench database. It was revealed that the new Vivo phone will have MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200 Plus processor. 8 GB RAM will be given and they will run on Android 14 OS.

The Vivo V40 series will have a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging. It is claimed that this will be the thinnest phone in the country with such a large battery. Both models may have IP68 rating, which means they will be protected from water and dust damage.

Vivo V40 and V40 Pro will be launched in August. The launch date is not confirmed yet. These phones will be sold on Flipkart as well as Vivo India’s website. They can be brought in Titanium Gray and Blue colors.
