Vishnu Dev Sai released book based on three new criminal laws Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita ann

New Criminal Kustice Laws: Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has said that today 1st July 2024 is a historic day for our country, from 1st July three new criminal laws are being implemented across the country, all these laws will be effective in place of the laws implemented by the British 150 years ago, this change will be brought by our Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while releasing a booklet on new criminal laws by the Home Department in Raipur, which reflects the resolve of the government.

While praising the officers of the Home Department, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that everyone has made a very good effort in terms of awareness and training, these three laws have been made with the objective of providing justice to all the citizens and it should be ensured that it is implemented better in the state, he said that the objectives of the Indian Judicial Code, Indian Civil Defense Code and Indian Evidence Act are also included in their name, in these justice has been given priority over punishment, these laws will prove to be an important step towards fulfilling the guarantee of justice and security of the Government of India.

Celebrated like a festival in police station
It is noteworthy that on the instructions of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Monday, July 1 is being celebrated as a festival in police stations across the state. Initiatives are being taken to make people aware on a wide scale with the aim of giving information about these laws.

These officers were present
Here, at the launch event, Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Pingua and Director General of Police Ashok Juneja informed about the efforts being made for better implementation of the new laws at the state level. Emphasis was laid on investigation and action with inter-departmental coordination to fulfil the objective of providing justice. Officials informed that two FIRs and one case have been registered under the new laws. On this occasion, Secretary to the Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, Basav Raju S. and officials of the Home Department were also present.

These provisions have been included in the law
In fact, the new law mainly includes provisions related to changes in colonial laws, women’s safety and justice, terrorism, organized crime and crimes against the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India, victim-centric legal provisions, scientific techniques in research, provisions for digital and electronic evidence, judicial process.

The Indian Justice Code, 2023 has been notified in place of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, the Indian Civil Protection Code, 2023 has been notified in place of the Indian Penal Code, 1973, and the Indian Evidence Act, 2023 has been notified in place of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
