New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s star batsman Virat Kohli has broken another record of the great Sachin Tendulkar. In the last match of the two-match Test series being played against Bangladesh, King Kohli became the fastest to complete 27 thousand international runs. He set this record before getting out after playing an inning of 47 runs in the first innings of the Kanpur Test.
Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has become the fourth batsman to score 27000 runs in his international cricket career. With this, Kohli has become the fourth batsman to reach this milestone after Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting and Kumar Sangakkara. Kohli has become the fastest batsman to score 27000 runs by breaking the record of great Indian batsman Sachin Tendulkar.
He took 594 innings to reach this milestone, whereas Tendulkar had achieved this milestone in 623 innings in 2007. Sri Lanka’s Sangakkara achieved this milestone in his 648th innings in 2015, while Ponting achieved this milestone in his 650th innings for Australia.
