Villagers attacked Bihar police in Araria and freed the criminal ann

Bihar Police: The villagers attacked the police of Simraha police station of Araria on Thursday evening. Due to which three policemen including the Additional Police Station Head were injured. Which also includes a watchman. The incident took place in Aurahi East of Simraha police station area. The two injured policemen were immediately brought to Forbesganj Sub-Divisional Hospital. Where after first aid, seeing the critical condition of both of them, they were referred to Araria Sadar Hospital. At the same time, the villagers freed the detained criminal with them.

Who are the injured policemen?

The referred policemen include Additional SHO of Simraha police station Imtiaz Khan and PTC Masood Alam. Simraha police station incharge Prem Kumar Bharti and Forbesganj police station incharge Raghavendra Kumar Singh reached the sub-divisional hospital and inquired about the condition of the injured policemen. Both the injured policemen had gone to arrest the criminal in civil dress. The villagers also beat up the watchman Santosh Kumar Paswan. Due to which he also got injured.

Statement from the police station chief in the matter

Giving information about the case, Simraha Police Station Head Prem Kumar Bharti said that information was received about the gathering of criminals with arms in Aurahi Purba Rishidev Tola for planning a crime. In the light of the information, the police team under the leadership of Additional Police Station Head Imtiaz Khan had reached the spot and was coming to Simraha police station after detaining a criminal from the spot. In this sequence, there was a scuffle between the police and the detained criminal. After which the villagers reached the spot and attacked the police team. The villagers attacked the two policemen along with the watchman Santosh Kumar Paswan.

He further said that action will be taken by registering an FIR in the matter. The attacking villagers are being identified. Soon everyone will be arrested.
