New Delhi. The Indian cricket team ended the long wait of the fans by winning the ICC T20 World Cup. India had not won any ICC title since 2013. Team India won the T20 World Cup trophy by registering a thrilling win in the last over against South Africa. Captain Rohit Sharma and veteran Virat Kohli along with coach Rahul Dravid were seen celebrating fiercely on the field after this match. BCCI has shared a video of the dressing room in which all the players are seen celebrating.
The Indian team created history by winning the ICC T20 World Cup. India has become the first country to win this title while remaining undefeated in the history of the tournament. In 2007, Team India won the first edition of the ICC T20 World Cup. Team India had not achieved such success since Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s amazing performance under the captaincy. After 17 years, now the Indian team became the T20 World Champion under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. After the victory, there was a huge celebration on the field. The whole world witnessed it and the videos also dominated social media but no one saw the celebration in the dressing room.
