PM Modi- Team India Meeting: The Indian cricket team met Prime Minister Narendra Modi as soon as they returned home on Thursday. This meeting of the Indian cricketers with the Prime Minister lasted for more than an hour. A video of the meeting between PM Modi and Team India has surfaced. In this video, it can be seen that captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid are handing over the World Cup trophy to the PM.
The Indian cricket team reached India on Thursday morning at 6 am after a long flight from Barbados. The Indian team arrived at Delhi airport on Air India’s special aircraft Air India Champions 24 World Cup (AIC24WC). From the airport, the team reached ITC Maurya Hotel. After staying in the hotel for about two hours, the stars of Team India reached the PM residence to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid, who made Team India the champion, handed over the World Cup trophy to PM Modi. In the video, PM Modi can be seen sitting with all the players. He is talking to all the players one by one. Coach Rahul Dravid is talking to the PM very seriously and Hardik Pandya is also explaining his point politely.
