New Delhi. Indian team captain Rohit Sharma went straight to his parents after the victory parade ended at Wankhede. Hitman’s parents were a part of Team India’s felicitation ceremony at Wankhede Stadium. After the ceremony ended, Hitman first met his mother and hugged her. Mother also showered a lot of love on her son who returned as a world champion. She hugged Rohit Sharma. Mother first kissed Hitman on both cheeks and then kissed his forehead and blessed her son.
After becoming the world champions against West Indies, Team India first landed in Delhi this morning. In the capital, Rohit Sharma and company first met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The PM encouraged the team a lot. After this, Team India took a direct flight and reached Mumbai. Cricket fans in the city were eagerly waiting for the team. The victory parade which started from Nariman Point reached Wankhede Stadium directly via Marine Drive. The Indian team was given a grand welcome there.
