New Delhi. After a long wait, Indian team captain Rohit Sharma finally got the chance to kiss the ICC T20 World Cup trophy. He got this opportunity while making his debut in 2007 under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. After 17 years, this great player got the happiness of becoming a world champion under his captaincy. After this victory, he recalled every incident that happened during the tournament. In the ICC T20 World Cup, the Indian team remained undefeated and captured the trophy. Till date, no team had achieved such success. In the final against South Africa, the team led by Rohit Sharma won the T20 World Cup title for the second time by scoring 7 runs in the last over. Batting first, India scored 176 runs and restricted South Africa to 169 runs.
