New DelhiFormer Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin believes that the Indian team, which won the rain-affected Kanpur Test match against Bangladesh with a very aggressive attitude, can repeat the same performance on the Australia tour next month. Despite playing only one session in the first three days, India won this test with explosive batting and aggressive bowling and swept the two-match series.

Haddin praised Indian captain Rohit Sharma for playing the Test match in this style. Haddin said on a podcast, “He created a chance to win the match. While batting, he was not keeping in mind how many runs he had to score. His focus was on the timing required to bowl out Bangladesh. The Indian team played brilliant cricket. I would like to congratulate Rohit Sharma and the members of the coaching team for this performance.

Rishabh Pant reached Delhi with his mother at the age of 12, spent his nights sleeping in a Gurudwara, this is how he made his cricket career.

Haddin said, “Rohit is this kind of player. For them, victory comes first and everything else later and the Indian team played with the same spirit and created a chance for itself to win the Test match. I liked this style of his cricket. I really believe so. If you look at this result (against Bangladesh), the worst result for India would have been a draw. India had no fear of losing the match. Rohit had nothing to lose. It was so nice to see this. This is a great way to win the Test.

Let us tell you that after bowling out Bangladesh for 233 runs in the first innings, Indian batsmen made the record of fastest scores of 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 in Test cricket. After declaring the innings at 285 runs for nine wickets in just 34.4 overs, India bowled out Bangladesh’s second innings cheaply and achieved the target of 95 runs for victory by losing three wickets.
