Let us tell you that, Congress leader and Telangana Minister Surekha Konda had claimed that due to KTR’s interference, there was a rift in the relationship between Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, which resulted in divorce. Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya, Amala Akkineni and Akhil Akkineni strongly attacked these claims.

Now on this matter, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has written a post on X and said that the statements made by a Telangana government minister defaming the character of prominent film personalities are appalling and reflect the anti-women mentality of the Congress. He further wrote that, it shows how this party views the entertainment industry, which is the pride of India. There is no place for such discussions in our society. The silence of Rahul Gandhi and the top leadership of Congress shows that they support such comments.

KTR sent notice-

Telangana leader KTR has also issued a legal notice to Konda Surekha to withdraw her statement. Although he has withdrawn his statement, several reports are now claiming that the Akkineni family is in the process of issuing a notice to him. A separate notice will also be issued by the Telugu Film Chamber to Minister Konda Surekha.

Telangana minister had made this claim-

Minister of State Surekha had said, ‘KTR asked to send Samantha in exchange for not demolishing the N-Convention Centre. Nagarjuna forces Samantha to approach KTR, but she refuses. This led to divorce. Let us tell you that the N-Convention Center owned by Nagarjuna was partially demolished in August by the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency due to encroachment on the buffer zone of the lake. However, he later got a stay from the High Court.
