Uttarakhand Latest News: The body of an employee posted as ATC at Pantnagar Airport in Uttarakhand was found hanging from the fan in the same room under suspicious circumstances. The deceased was wearing women’s clothes. On receiving the information, the police took the body in their custody, filled the Panchnama and sent it for postmortem and started the investigation.
Ashish Kumar Chausali, posted as in-charge of Air Traffic Control at Pantnagar Airport in Udham Singh Nagar district, died under suspicious circumstances. At the time of death, the deceased was wearing women’s clothes. After receiving information about the death, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody, filled the Panchnama and sent it for post-mortem, while the police and forensic team reached the employee’s house and started investigation by taking several suspicious items and mobile phones in their possession.
Dead body found hanging from the fan under suspicious circumstances
According to the information received, Ashish Kumar Chausali, posted as ATC at Pantnagar Airport, did not report for duty in the morning. After that, his room partners and other employees called out to him but on not getting any response from inside the room, the employees hurriedly broke the gate and entered the room. They saw that the deceased was hanging from a fan wearing woman’s clothes. After that, his colleagues came down from the rope and hurriedly reached Rudrapur District Hospital where the team of doctors declared him dead after preliminary examination.
Police engaged in investigation
SP City Rudrapur Manoj Katyal said that an employee posted as ATC at Pantnagar Airport died under suspicious circumstances. On receiving the information of the death, the police reached the district hospital, took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem after preparing a Panchnama. He said that the police and forensic team reached the spot and recovered many suspicious objects and started investigating the case. The cause of death will be known only after the investigation.
