Uttarakhand News: Although, incidents of landslides start coming to the fore as soon as the rains begin in the mountainous regions of Uttarakhand. But due to the continuous development work and road construction on the mountains, there has been a significant increase in the incidents of landslides. Many such videos of landslide incidents are coming out, which make people shudder just by watching them. It is a blessing that the movement of vehicles on the road was closed at the time of the accident. Since the accident, the debris and boulders present on the road are being removed with the help of JCB.

A massive landslide occurred at 08:30 am near Rauti bridge located on Tanakpur Tawaghat National Highway, 16 km from Dharchula in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. In the landslide, a huge rock broke off from the hill and fell into the Kali river. The environment has become dusty due to the falling of the huge rock from the hill.

The people present there saved their lives by running here and there, due to the landslide the road got blocked due to debris and boulders falling on the road. Due to the presence of mind of the people present on the spot and the SSB jawans, a major accident was averted. The video of the incident is going viral very fast on social media.

A big boulder broke and fell in the Kali river
SSB Head Constable Ravi Shankar, who made the video of the landslide, said that a huge boulder broke off and fell into the Kali river near the Rauti bridge on the Tanakpur Tawaghat National Highway. There is a hanging bridge at a short distance from the place where the huge boulder fell. There has been no damage to the hanging bridge due to this incident.

There was a commotion when a huge boulder fell near Rauti bridge in Pithoragarh at 8:30 am. Seeing the boulder falling, the people present on the spot, SSB soldiers and soldiers of the Nepali post ran away and saved their lives. AC Sandeep Keshari of 11th Battalion SSB DDhat said that 6 male and 4 female soldiers are posted at Rauti post. There is no possibility of anyone getting harmed due to the landslide incident.
