Why was he dropped from the team
Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Akash Raj have not been made part of the team for the match against Uttar Pradesh. In their place, Abhijeet Saket and Malay Raj have now been included in the team on the instructions of the selection committee. Both of them have been given a place in the team after passing the fitness test. Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who debuted at a young age, could not perform anything special in the last two matches. He was out after scoring 19 runs in the first innings and 12 runs in the second innings against Mumbai. At the same time, against Chhattisgarh he was out for 0 in both the innings.

Cricket experts are citing his poor performance as the reason behind his exclusion from the team. Vaibhav Suryavanshi made his Ranji debut at the age of 13. Before his debut, he has a record of scoring 49 centuries and 3 double centuries in domestic cricket in a year. But this magic could not work in Ranji. On the other hand, Akash Raj also could not show anything special in the four innings of both the matches. His highest score was 32 runs.

Both these players will now play in the ongoing CK Nayudu Trophy in Jharkhand. CK Nayudu Trophy is a domestic cricket championship played between under-23 teams. Bihar team will face Uttarakhand in Dehradun on 21 January.
