Varanasi News: The central government is promoting micro and small industries. Many schemes have also been launched for this. Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of self-reliant India, the youth are rapidly moving towards self-employment. Three brothers from PM Modi’s parliamentary constituency Varanasi have left their jobs worth lakhs and started farming pearls and honey. With this, they have created a new identity for themselves and are also earning profits worth crores every year.

Three brothers Rohit, Shwetang and Mohit Pathak, residents of Narayanpur, Varanasi, were working in a multinational company till a few years ago. Meanwhile, their outlook towards life changed. They left their job earning lakhs and planned to farm pearls and honey.

Shwetang Pathak told that pearl farming is a very patient job. We started it in the year 2018. Oysters are collected from rivers. After this, they are operated upon to make pearls, then after taking care of it for two years, the pearl is ready.

Rohit Pathak said that he started it in 2018 under the Startup scheme. He said, “We have formed a company named ‘Agrikash Udes Pearl Farming’, in which a team of 10 people works. All the trainers have studied from institutions like Lucknow University and Banaras Hindu University.”

He said, “Along with pearl farming, we have focused on beekeeping, goat farming and dairy farming. Last year, 2,300 people were trained. 70 farmers are associated with our project.” Mohit Pathak told that he had taken training in beekeeping while living in Delhi. After this, he came to the village and started working. He is a close friend of the Prime Minister. Narendra Modi He is also associated with the ‘Sweet Revolution’ mission of the organization. He worked as a trainer.

He said that I am currently training people in this work as a trainer of Varanasi division. What are the uses of beekeeping? I feel good by giving information to people about the ways beekeeping is done apart from honey. PM Modi had also praised the pearl farming of these three brothers about four years ago. The Prime Minister said, “The three youths who are farming pearls in Narayanpur village of Varanasi have set an example for everyone. These youths have shown that if hard work is done in the right direction, pearls can be grown from the soil.”
