UP police personnel have become a problem for the Railways. Despite the orders of the DGP, the policemen are not desisting from forcibly traveling in air-conditioned and reserved coaches of the Railways. Fed up with this, the Railways had to send a letter again to the state police. Let us tell you that last year, a policeman traveling without a ticket in Amarnath Express had threatened to throw the ticket inspector from the train, when the video of which went viral, the then DGP DS Chauhan had warned of taking strict action against such policemen.
Despite the warning of the DGP, some policemen are forcibly traveling in reserved coaches of the Railways. Railway officials have informed the police department in this regard by writing a letter on September 10. Railway officials have complained that a large number of policemen are traveling illegally without tickets in reserved coaches, especially AC coaches. Also, a request has been made to stop this inappropriate conduct of policemen. After which the GRP officials have warned the subordinates that if any policeman is caught traveling without a ticket, then strict action should be taken against him.
