Opposition leader Rahul Gandhi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath have come face to face over the compensation given to the displaced in Ayodhya. The Chief Minister also cornered Rahul on the statement regarding distribution of compensation to the displaced in Ayodhya and said that he has lied in the Parliament as well. Accusing Rahul of misstatement at a sacred place like the Parliament, he said that he has given this statement to defame Ayodhya. The CM said that Rahul’s false statement given in the House is extremely condemnable and shameful. He said that an amount of Rs 1733 crore has been given as compensation to the displaced people during various development works in Ayodhya.

Talking to journalists at his residence, the Chief Minister said that the people who wanted to strangle the Constitution have misled the public about the Constitution. Such people had also tried to influence the elections by raising the false issue of changing the Constitution with the help of foreign money. They misled the mothers and sisters of India by making them fill a fake bond of Rs. 1 lakh. Today again they have played with the faith of the public by giving a false statement.

The Chief Minister said that the public knows who has deprived Ayodhya of its identity. Rahul and his colleagues not only exiled Ayodhya, but also stained the Saryu with blood. Today, when Ayodhya is reestablishing its glory and attracting the whole world, the restlessness in the Congress has increased. He also shared the details of the compensation distributed in Ayodhya with the media. The CM said that whoever has lost land, shop or house in the construction of Rampath, Bhaktipath, Janmabhoomi Path or airport, everyone has been given proper compensation. Those who had space to build shops at the back, their shops have been built, those who did not have space are being given shops by building multi-level complexes.
