The way has been cleared for the by-election on Milkipur seat of Ayodhya. Election on this seat could not be declared due to a petition. Gorakhnath Baba’s lawyer has clarified that he will withdraw his petition filed in the court. Now there are speculations that elections can be held on this seat along with other seats also. This seat was vacated by Avadhesh Prasad. It is known that he had become MP from Faizabad seat from SP. SP has declared its candidate on this seat. The party has given ticket to Awadhesh Prasad’s son Ajit Prasad from SP.
By-elections were declared on nine seats of UP
By-elections have been announced for nine out of 10 assembly seats in UP. By-election will not be held on Milkipur seat of Ayodhya district right now. Voting for by-elections on nine seats will take place on November 13 while counting of votes will take place on November 23.
