Lucknow Today News: The Uttar Pradesh government is constantly making new arrangements to promote tourism. Now a heliport is going to be built in Lucknow, from where one can take an aerial tour of Lucknow by helicopter. Along with this, devotees will also be able to visit major religious places like Ayodhya and Naimisharanya by this helicopter.
The UP government is now going to convert the helipad built in Lucknow’s Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan into a heliport. This heliport will be built on PPP mode. Along with Lucknow, helicopter service will also be started in Prayagraj and Kapilvastu in the coming days, so that tourists can get a better experience and this will increase the number of tourists as well as employment.
Air travel will start from Lucknow’s Ramabai
Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh told ABP Live that we have identified a place in front of Ramabai Ambedkar Maidan in Lucknow. It was the place of Lucknow Development Authority, now it has been handed over to the Tourism Department. He said that from here air services for Ayodhya, Chitrakoot, Naimisharanya are going to be started for common citizens and devotees. Our effort is that any tourist or devotee who comes to Uttar Pradesh should get better facilities. There should be no lapse in infrastructure development and he should go from here with a good experience. So that this place becomes famous in the country and abroad.
Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh said that we are at the first place in the country in terms of domestic tourist arrivals. Whereas we are at the third place in terms of foreign tourist arrivals. Our effort is to increase the number of both domestic and foreign tourists and to provide them all the facilities. Our efforts are continuing for this.
The service will begin in July
Jaiveer Singh said that we have tightened the law and order situation, due to which tourists are coming here in large numbers and now we are also continuously working on infrastructure development. He said that helicopter service will start from this heliport in the month of July and its fares will also be such that people can easily afford it.
