UP Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: Counting of votes for Lok Sabha elections has begun. In the first hour, the Bharatiya Janata Party is seen moving ahead rapidly in Uttar Pradesh, while India Alliance is in second place. In the trends till 9 am, BJP is leading on 43 seats, while India Alliance is also leading on 17 seats.

According to the Election Commission, SP is leading in Kairana, Bijnor, Meerut, Firozabad, Aonla, Dhaurahra, Mohanlalganj and Farrukhabad. BJP is leading in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Agra, Hardoi, Misrikh, Sant Kabir Nagar, Bhadohi.

Who is ahead and who is behind in the initial trends

Counting of votes started at 8 am today, first of all postal ballots were counted. In which a tough competition is being seen between NDA and India Alliance. In the first one hour, Dimple Yadav from Mainpuri, Dharmendra Yadav from Azamgarh, Rahul Gandhi from Rae Bareli, Akhilesh Yadav from Kannauj Lok Sabha seat, BJP’s Ravi Kishan from Gorakhpur seat and BJP’s Atul Garg from Ghaziabad seat are leading. Union Minister Smriti Irani is leading from Amethi seat. India Alliance’s Kishori Lal Sharma is behind.

Apart from these, India Alliance is also leading in Ghosi and Barabanki seats. Samajwadi Party’s Anu Patel is leading from Unnao, India Alliance is also leading in Moradabad seat. Bharatiya Janata Party is leading in Kairana and Amroha seats.

Please note that UP Lok Sabha Elections Voting was held in seven phases on all 80 Lok Sabha seats, after which the counting of votes is being done today. In UP, counting is being done at 81 centers in all 75 districts of the state. For this, tight security arrangements have been made at all the centers. The Chief Electoral Officer said that sufficient paramilitary forces have been deployed to ensure smooth counting. The security of the counting place will be three-tier. For this, regional police force, state police force and CAPF have been deployed.
