Bengaluru-based startup Ultraviolette Automotive on Wednesday launched the F77 Mach 2 electric bike in India. The Mac 2 is launched as an upgrade to the F77, which was scheduled to launch in late 2022. Minor cosmetic changes have been made in the new model compared to the original electric bike, but now the bike comes equipped with more power and better range than the original model. Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 has been launched in two variants, in which the Standard variant is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh and the Recon is priced at Rs 3.99 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru. However, let us tell you that this is an introductory price, which will be only for the first 1,000 customers. for bike booking It has started from today. Customers can book the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 for Rs 5,000. According to the company, deliveries will start from next month. The new model has been launched in Lighting Blue, Asteroid Grey, Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, Stealth Grey, Cosmic Black, Plasma Red, Supersonic Silver and Stellar White colors.

Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 specifications, features

Starting with the design, the F77 Mach 2 is almost identical to the original model. The new model has a new aluminum flop for the charging port lid. Additionally, there are some minor changes to the graphics.

The powertrain is one area where the F77 Mach 2 differs significantly from its parent model. The standard variant of the new model gets a 7.1 kWh battery pack, which is paired with a 27kW motor. Whereas, Recon comes with 30kW motor and 10.3 kWh battery pack. The company claims that the standard variant has a range of 211 km, while thanks to the larger battery pack, the Recon variant can achieve a range of 323 km on a single charge. The top variant gets ten levels of switchable regenerative braking levels and the standard variant gets only three levels.

Even in terms of features, the new model is different from the original variant. The F77 Mach 2 gets three ride modes and a large 5-inch TFT digital cluster to display multiple ride information simultaneously. The bike also comes equipped with advanced features like auto-dimming lights, hill hold, ABS and dynamic stability control. Four levels of traction control have been added to the Recon variant.

The Mach 2 gets 41 mm USD front forks and a preload adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The braking burden is placed on the shoulders of a single 320 mm front and 230 mm rear disc shod with 110/70 front and 150/60 rear tires shod with 17-inch alloys.
