S-400 Leaked Information: prime minister of India Narendra Modi Ukrainian hackers, frustrated by PM Modi’s Moscow visit, have done a despicable act. Ukraine has claimed to have leaked extremely confidential information of the S-400 missile to be given to India by Russia. Ukraine has revealed this at a time when, after pressure from PM Modi, Russia has started supplying S-400 missiles with a range of 400 kilometres to India.
Actually, Russia had sent the complete details of the defence system to be given to India to the Indian government through email. This email was hacked by Ukrainian hackers with the help of International Intelligence Community Informapalm. Ukraine said that the details of many weapons to be sent to India have been obtained by their country’s hackers. Now Ukrainian hackers have claimed that they have made this detail public, which can be exploited by India’s enemies China and Pakistan. As of now, the claim of Ukrainian hackers has not been confirmed by India or Russia.
Ukrainian hackers hacked emails
Recently, Ukrainian President Zelensky had reacted strongly to PM Modi’s visit to Russia, he had said that the Indian Prime Minister is hugging a bloody murderer. In fact, before Modi’s visit, Russia had attacked a child hospital in Ukraine, in which many children lost their lives. To take revenge for this visit of Modi, Ukrainian hackers have claimed to leak important information about the deal between Russia and India. According to Ukraine, all the information about how many missiles and equipment India has purchased has been leaked.
$5 billion deal for S-400
A deal was signed between India and Russia in 2018 for the S-400 defense missile system. The total deal is worth $5 billion. So far, Russia has given 3 missile systems to India. Due to the Ukraine war, there is a problem in giving the remaining two S-400s. Russia has said that it will give the remaining missiles by next year. Apart from this, Russia is training India for this defense system.
Big setback for India
One of the leaked emails is of Vladimir Chervakov in which information about the S-400 division was given. Chervakov is the head of the Air Defense Department of Moscow State University. In such a situation, analysts say that if the claim of Ukrainian hackers is true, then it has come as a big shock to India, because India had made the S-400 deal to deal with China and Pakistan and now the enemies have come to know about it.
