Keir Starmer
Labour Party leader Keir Starmer is a former human rights lawyer and chief public prosecutor. Pre-election surveys have claimed that the Labour Party will get a majority. In such a situation, there is a strong possibility that Keir Starmer can become the next Prime Minister of Britain. Under the leadership of former Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, the Labour Party had leaned towards the left. Keir Starmer is credited with making the party centrist again.
Rishi Sunak
Conservative Party leader Rishi Sunak is once again in the race to become the country’s PM. However, the survey has shown that this time his path is very difficult. Indian-origin Rishi Sunak, who became the Prime Minister of Britain in October 2022, is claiming to control the rising inflation in Britain, but he is also being accused of not fulfilling many promises, due to which there is resentment among the people against him. Sunak is Britain’s first Asian and Hindu Prime Minister.
Nigel Farage
Nigel Farage, 60, a former European Parliament MP, is considered one of the most divisive leaders in British politics. He got the nickname Mr Brexit from former US President Donald Trump after helping persuade the majority of Britons to vote to leave the European Union in 2016. He is trying to become an MP for the eighth time in tomorrow’s election. He is the head of the far-right Reform UK party. Many surveys are claiming that the Reform UK party can harm the Conservative Party in many key seats. Farage has also been accused of making racist and anti-gay statements.
